ABOUT ME

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Aldrian graduated from Baylor University in with a B.S. in Apparel Design and Product Development and a minor in Business Administration. He was raised in Austin, TX and is now based in San Diego and Greater Los Angeles Area. Coming from an Indonesian-Chinese background, he is proud of his Asian-American heritage and often draws inspiration from it in his work.

"Ever since I was little, I knew that I wanted to have a career in the arts field. My parents signed me up for multiple classes, which ranged from painting to music. I was always inspired and awestruck at how anything can be transformed into a significant piece of art. It was not until the 4th grade that I experienced an art form that resonated with me. Fashion design had never occurred to me to be a career path, because I just viewed clothes as something that was only meant to be worn, not admired. However, I discovered a newfound appreciation for fashion that has never dwindled away even today. It has remained persistent through my education and life, a constant in my life that I can always rely on. It is a method for me to escape the confines of chaotic reality and be at peace. It is my own version of nirvana, an irreplaceable and indescribable sensation of liberation and calmness."
